About This Item
New York: Sidney Janis Gallery, 1968. Original wraps. Very Good. The uncommon catalogue based on the April-May 1968 exhibition at New York's Sidney Janis Gallery. Tight and VG in its off-white wrappers, with light foxing and off-setting along the fore-edges and the spine. Oblong quarto, 4 lovely color screenprints ("Between the Lines", 1968; "Saturated", 1968; "Sentinel", 1967; and "Park", 1967) following a 1 pg. dissertation-in-verse by Albers. The first screenprint --"Between the Lines"-- does show light foxing at both the caption page opposite and on the screenprint itself, and the next 3 screenprints are all pristine. This copy also includes a laid-in original announcement for the opening of the show (April 10th, 1968, 4-7 PM).
