Red morocco album, boards ruled in blnd, turn-ins gilt, a.e.g., for G.P. Putnam's. Rubbed but sound. Very good, internally clean and fresh. With 106 original gelatin silver photographs (one real photo post card) mounted on both sides of twelve album leaves, most 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches, a few 2 x 3-1/2 inches. 1 vols. Oblong folio. An excellent album of photographs of outdoor Colorado at the turn of the century, including railroad, ranch, and mountain scenes, a rural graveyard, and several hunting and camping trips in the back country in summer and winter. A summer bear hunt shows two pelts; the winter bear hunt features a party of four on horsebak with dogs. There is some good-nature mugging for the camera, too. Trophies include black bear, wolf, elk, and deer.
