In Venetia Appresso P. Gironimo Giglio, e compagni 1559. Small 8vo, 151 x 100 mms., foliated [1] 2 - 163 [5 verso colophone with triangular emblem with lillies], with engraved vignette on title-page, with Giglio's "gigli" (lillies) enclosed in an oval with three lilies above a pyramid figure, final blank leaf with contemporary note on recto, contemporary vellum(worn and soiled, with pieces missing from spine. This first part of a two-volume enterprise was translated by A. Massa and G. Tarcagnotta.
