Quarter red cloth with mustard yellow cloth covered boards, blind stamped grape vine and gilt titles on front board, top edge red, xv, 713 pp, colophon. One corner bumped, a few small dents in bottom edges of boards, a black stain to fore-edge near bottom, gift inscription recto ffep, notes in pencil on title page. Contains preliminary chapters on history of wine, spirits, distillation, and grapes (to p 57), the main, alphabetical section (to p 568), appendices covering Bordeaux wines, containers, tables for converting metric, British, and US units, pronouncing glossary, bibliography, acknowledgements (quite a long list, including titles and names of organizations), and index. Books are offered subject to prior sale. You may return any book within 14 days for a refund; if it was not as described, we will also refund return shipping costs (but please e-mail us first). You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order. Sales tax is collected by Biblio and remitted directly to your state, where applicable. SHIPPING IN UNITED STATES: Books are priced postpaid, so there are no additional shipping charges for standard shipping. We will ship via Priority Mail for $12.00 per order (Save on multiple-book orders!). This may be reduced if actual postage is less than for a medium flat-rate box. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: In most cases, shipping via Biblio's consolidated shipping program via Asendia is the cheapest option on orders up to 5 lbs. International shipping rates are complex (cost depends upon weight and destination), so please feel free to email us for a quote before you order. If the actual cost of shipping is more than the automatically quoted rate, you must approve the additional charges before the order will be shipped.
