About This Item
Oklahoma City, Ok: Oklahoma Press, 1932. Signed Collector's Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. This volume is from a limited de luxe edition of 325 copies set apart for Private Presentation and has been prepared and numbered 192 especially for James N. Crofton and is signed in ink by William H. Murray, the Governor of Oklahoma, and Gordon Hines, his biographer, at Oklahoma City, May, 1932. The page opposite Alfalfa Bill's signature bears a trace of ink since it might have been closed a bit too quickly after the governor signed it. The book itself does not have a dust jacket but the book itself has been protected in an archival quality cover. The slipcase has been restored by a professional book binder. A beautiful, highly collectable copy, that would be hard to match in this condition and practically impossible to find in any better condition.
