Macmillan, 1897. Cloth. Very Good. Two volumes, large, thick very heavy books, darker green cloths, gilt lettering bright on spine. Volume I: 516 pages, tissue-covered frontispiece portrait of younger Tennyson, light pencil lines in some pages' margins. Light wear at top front tip, light surface wear at bottom front right near tip, tiny scratch at spine top edge, light surface wear at bottom back. Volume II: 551 pages plus advertisements. Light wear to bottom front tip, two tiny scratches at spine top edge, older Tennyson in frontispiece portrait, a page from an article on Tennyson between pp. 238-239. Very Good set.
