Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Co./Crime Club, 1952. Tommy Hambledon breaks through the Iron Curtain to rescue a small boy, the future king of a European country, trapped in Russia. Lightly bumped and rubbed with a faint drip mark to the upper edge of the text block and foxing to the end papers. Jacket rubbed and worn with chips and tears, including a 4" jagged tear up the lower front spine fold, in Brodart. Laid in is an envelope containing a small note card imprinted "Manning Coles." Inside is a handwritten note, dated 21/12/53, which mentions Alias Uncle Hugo and is signed Cyril H. Coles.. Inscribed By the Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair.
