About This Item
No copyright date, but appears to be early to mid-20th century. Tight, square spine. Clean, unmarked interior. Some areas of sunning to the boards at the edges, but gilt to spine remains bright. Jacket has some sunning, rubbing, and moderate to heavy edge-wear. Beautiful book with two colors (burgundy and chartreuse) plus gilt printed on full-cloth (light blue) and a mauve-dyed top edge. Attractive jacket with 19th-century display faces and a playful badge featuring Tenniel's mysterious signature. 244 pp. Fiction.
