Grey hardcover with title in gilt on spine and front cover. Condition: Good, with general shelfwear and some light sunning to cover edges. No inscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Fair to good, generally scuffed, with some rubbing to the top left of the front cover of jacket where it meets the spine. 362pp. Many b/w illustrations. This useful reference book, published by the Italian furniture company Alivar, gives a detailed overview of some of the best furniture designs and designers of the 20th century, including Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Josef Hoffmann, Marcel Breuer, Robert Mallet-Stevens and Mart Stam..
