Oversized hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, 272 pages including "32 pages of colour plates, 130 illustrations in black and white"; very attractive book in crimson cloth covers with floral emblem in gilt on front cover and gilt lettering to spine, book very gently used, tight in binding, not a hint of shelf wear, very clean and unmarked throughout, pages fresh and white; DJ has several very tiny chips along bottom edge neatly reinforced indide by clear tape.
