N.p: Privately Published, 1945. First Edition, First Printing. Although not issued signed, this copy is signed by the author Henry Miller: “Henry Miller, Big Sur, 8/23/46”. Limited, numbered edition, with this copy being #81 of 500. Very good copy with a hint of handling and some minor fading to the navy blue cloth at the spine with the gilt-stamping rubbed without dust jacket as issued. The book begins: “Aller Retour New York by Henry Miller: Being the account of a voyage to New York and back exactly as recorded in a letter to Alfred Perles, the distinguished French writer, who up to now has held the record for letter writing.”
