Paris: chez Lattré Graveur, rue St. Jacques à la ville de Bordeaux, 1769. 24mo (111 x 64 mm). 12, 11, [1 blank] pp. Entirely engraved, text within hatched border colored yellow, hand-colored engraved title and 11 plates, by various engravers after Gravelot, all with contemporary hand-coloring, Uranie plate before lettering. Some light soiling, a few small stains, a corner creased. Publisher's red morocco, an inset oval painted miniature at center of each cover, glazed in mica(?), within gold-tooled wreath and ribbon cartouches, gold-colored joints (restored), rose tabis silk liners, gilt edges.*** Only Edition, the fifth volume of Gravelot's 17-year annual "iconographic" almanac, published from 1765 to 1781. This is a luxury copy with the engravings hand-colored and bound in morocco with inset watercolor miniatures, typically the most expensive type of binding offered by almanac publishers.
