Michael Hague's detailed art is very much in the aesthetic tradition of Golden Age artists like Howard Pyle and Arthur Rackham. His illustrations for collections of classic stories make his art a touchstone of many childhoods. 10'' x 8''. Original cloth-backed boards. Original unclipped (£4.95) color pictorial dust jacket. Illustrated in color. [32] pages. Dedication page inscribed by Hague and dated 1985, with original drawing of a teddy bear. Jacket with mild sunning to spine, small price label to rear. Clean.
