A & C Black, 1910 A & C Black, London, 1910, hb no d/w, 1st ed, green cloth boards with gilt titles to spine and front cover, spine and front cover also decorated, the front cover has a white and light green illustration of alpine flowers, corners and head and foot of spine are a little bumped and rubbed, else few signs of wear, pages are tanned with age, the prelim pages more so, but the text pages remain clean and bright, the illustration pages are very clean and bright, the top edge of the pages are gilt, the inside front hinge is cracked but the binding remains good and secure, a nice copy of a scarce volume [Box 17]
