Fine/Near Fine. 8vo, dark green cloth with gold lettering on spine and front cover, lettered dust jacket (price-clipped) with belly-band, dj protected by an archival clear plastic cover, 105 pages. Edwin Arlington Robinson (1869 - 1935) was an American poet who won three Pulitzer Prizes for his work, and was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature four times. Amaranth was a narrative and meditative poem with personalized symbolism. Via Amaranth, ""the flower that cannot fade,"" men and women may reach a better understanding of their place in the scheme of things. Condition: FINE copy: Tight, remarkably bright and clean copy with comparable dust jacket & rare belly-band. VERY slight toning to edges of dj and belly-band.
