About This Item
The First UK printing published by Lutterworth Press in 1957. The BOOK is in near FINE condition. A little pushing to the spine tips. The gilt titling is slightly dulled. The book is tight, clean and free from inscriptions. Page edges lightly toned due to the quality of the paper stock used. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good condition, bearing the correct price of 25s net. Some edge-wear with rubbing and minor loss in places more-so at the spine ends. No loss of colouring to the lettering on the spine. The rear panel and flaps are surprisingly clean for their age. Photo images have some glare due to the shine of the laminate. The wrapper looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival protector. A very early title from one of the astronomy legends. Very scarce in wrapper and the first we have handled. More images available on request. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
