The sixteenth of the Ameliaranne series of children's books, originally published in 1943. In this title, Ameliaranne takes part in the village jumble sale and gets back some money accidentally left in the pocket of a donated item. Includes the usual soft coloured illustrations by Susan Beatrice Pearce. .

Illustrated by by Susan Beatrice Pearse in colour throughout with black and white repeated images at the head and tail of each page of text. Cloth spine is slightly faded. colour illustrated paper to boards is clean but rubbed to corner and slightly bumped to one corner. Unfortunately one double page has red crayon scribble on. Apart from the occasional finger mark to wide page margins the text is otherwise very clean and bright. Good+, sound copy . Hardback. 1943.
