About This Item
This highly popular collection of essays is in overall good condition with somewhat soiled brown boards with a bump on the front board edge and a printed paper label of title/author on the spine. The binding is sound, pages tight except for the frontispiece, which bears a colorful caricature of Thackeray and Dickens and is loosed at the bottom. There are 91 illustrations--some in-text, others full-page plates. No markings throughout, interior very good. Nice!

Medium to Rare Books
Any request for return of an item should be made to the seller within 3 days of receipt of the item, with the reason for return clearly stated. Ideally, we seek to have all items returned to us in original condition or, if they were damaged in first shipping, returned without further damage. The buyer, therefore, will need to pack the returned items carefully to avoid shipping damage, which may affect the refund, and to pay the return fees. The return fees will be refunded if the item was repacked properly. If the item is being returned because it was damaged in the original shipping, we ask the buyer to email photographic documentation of the damage immediately upon receipt of the item. If the item is being returned because it is not what was ordered, then the refund will be full and immediate--provided the item is returned in packaging adequate to protect it from damage. Notification of the intent to return an item, and the reasons, can be directed to mediumtorarebooks@mail.com.
