G. Routledge & Sons, Ltd, 1938. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1938. First English Editio. 300 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with black lettering to spine. Inscribed by Kenneth Gee to front endpaper, dated August 1944. Translated from the German by Edwin and Willa Muir. Publisher's catalogue to rear. Noticeable cracking to front hinge and occasionally to gutters. Front board and binding are slightly loose, however pages throughout remain attached. Pages are lightly tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. More pronounced to text block edges. Black marks to fore edge of text block. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Minor fraying to spine ends and corners. Water markings to both boards. Book has a slight forward lean.
