Straight Arrow, 1974. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Published in San Francisco by Straight Arrow in 1974. First edition (no indication of later printing). This copy is INSCRIBED by Steadman on the copyright pages, "To Herb Berkeley From Ralph Steadman 12.7.74" with a drawing. Book near fine, except for slight wear at spine ends and corners, some light damp staining at top of front cover, and small stain mirrored on front paste-down and free endpaper. Also, small tear on copyright page from Steadman's signature. DJ very good, light chipping at ends of spine and corners, light edgewear, 1" tear at top edge of front, .5" diagonal tear at top edge of rear, and a few light creases and scratches on rear. With an introduction by Hunter S. Thompson. DJ price reads $19.95. We will provide a certificate of authenticity for this item.
