Brown cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 209 pp 8vo. John Lincoln was an electrical engineer, a contemporary of Edison, Brush, and Coffin, who established the Lincoln Electric Company in 1895. Through his life he recorded 54 patents and devised a mechanism which helped win WWII. He also acquired real estate holdings and Bagdad copper properties. But his main accomplishments were in social and economic change in the cause of justice and enlightenment among people. This is an account of what one man with such natural endowments could accomplish in America. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
