About This Item

Sheboygan WI: John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Near Fine. 1978. Limited Edition. Softcover. Exhibition Catalog; A clean, tight copy of this wonderful exhibition catalog. In fact, there were two exhibitions in succession: The Midwest and Beyond, 184-1970, which shows the history of the American chair, and The Chair and the Contemporary American Artist, which has some very wild and extremely funny examples of chairmaking run amok. Seeing is believing. The paper covers show very slight soiling, but the catalog does not appear to have seen any use. .
