Color and black and white photographs and illustrations, many on glossy plates. Deckle fore edges and bottom edges. 572 pages. Binding partially cracked at frontispiece. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends lightly bumped and rubbed. Covers lightly soiled. Text pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Last page of index has an old tape repair in the margin only. A few pages are chipped at the fore edge. Pages clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
