The Bybee Collection of American Furniture has been described as one of the finest of its type in private hands, in America. It had been acquired by the Dallas Museum of Art prior to publication of this book in 1989. The author was awarded the Charles F. Montgomery Award by the Decorative Arts Society for this book. The book is in fine, like new condition with only the slightest of shelf wear. The author has inscribed and signed on the title page.
