Irving Squire, 1910. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Good ; No jacket. 1910 Irving Squire. 2 volumes. Hardcovers have red cloth-covered boards with gold spine lettering. Deckle fore and bottom edges. Top edges gilt. Tissue color frontispiece. Tissued black and white plates. Edited by Emil Liebling. 401 + 396 pages, and lxiii pages of index to the series. NOT ex-library. Bindings tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with light fraying at tips and spine ends. Covers have light edge wear and surface wear. A few light binding cracks between pages. One page is dog-eared in each volume. Both volumes have some pages that are uncut (unopened) at fore edges. Volume 1 has some staining at tail of spine and corner of front cover at spine; slight waviness to top edge of last 10 leaves. Volume 2 has some additional scuffing to the front cover, and the bottom corner of one page is missing (no text affected). Pages clean and unmarked. No dust jackets. Series: The American History and Encyclopedia of Music. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
