USA: Marine Research Society, 1930. Publication Number Twenty-one of the Marine Research Society. Cover: Clean navy blue cloth on boards with gilt titles. Soft rubbing to some of the extremeties and boards fore corner tips. Edges: top-edge dark blue now slightly faded; mild foxing and light dusting of soiling. Ffep: head with name/address. Eps: light sprinkling of foxing and faint smudges. Frontis with tissue guard: A.J.Fuller, 1782 Tons, built at Bath, Maine, in 1881 from a colour painting by Charles R. Patterson. Clean content. B/w illustrations. Binding is As New. 399p Dj: moderate soiling & rubbing. Spine: head & foot with thin wear, small tears and chips with white tape repair on inside. Rear flap spine: 6cm split to head and 3.5cm split to foot. All four flaps fore cornes with small price-cut. Moderately heavy book.. First Edition. Hb. VG/VG.
