About This Item
Three volumes in half red morocco over marbled boards accompanied by the professionally rebacked polished calf folio volume. The latter with 76 striking tissue-guarded hand-colored engraved plates. A second (& much better) edition of the first edition including Ord's Life of Wilson and a very much superior issuance of the plates. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Some general wear to leather all around (see image), but otherwise a clean set with no previous owners' names or other defacements.
Text volumes 5.75 x 9.5 inches; folio volume 11.75 x 14.8 inches.
