Dustjacket. This is the inspiring story of the US citizens who fought and died in WWII long before their country entered the war. The three Eagle Squadrons of Britain's Rpyal Air Force were manned by young American flyers risking their lives in another nation's fight. This book tells their stories - a unique chapter in American military history. Book in very good condition and appears unread. Very minor soiling to boards and text block edges. Light soiling to small areas of pages 388 & 389. Some grazing to upper edges of both front and rear paste-downs. Dust jacket very good. Unclipped. A little light soiling here and there. Spine slightly faded and some minor edge wear. Small area of damp staining to inner surface of upper edge.
