What makes this copy special is that it is inscribed by Sandburg to a close friend. What is even more important is that in this copy Sandburg sent along 5 handwritten pages - part of the introduction to this book. Also included is a photocopy of a letter expressing his sorrow at the passing of his friend and a photo of Carl and his daughter. A special and unique Sandburg item..
