About This Item
New York: Funk & Wagnals, 1956. 3rd Printing. Near fine in decorated light blue cloth covered boards with a dated gift inscription on the front paste down behind the jacket flap. In a very good- price clipped dust jacket with 1/4" chips at the ends of the spine area and light wear at the fore corners of the front panel. This is Eric Sloane's tribute to America's "attic of vanishing ways and obslete occupations." The very quintessence of Sloane with wonderfully detailed sketches of early American ways.
