New York: E. P. Dutton & C0., 1952. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. First Thus. 7 1/2 h x 5w. A real nice 606 page first E. P. Dutton edition hardcover. David Macrae had this book first published in 1871. Working his way from Edinburgh in 1868 he landed in Canada then working his way south to New Orleans then up the Mississippi river to arrive eventually in Chicago. Being from that time period and his manner this is a delightful piece of writing. so it say on the dust jacket flaps..

About Warren's Books
I have been selling books since 1976. I am not a mega-lister that just types in an ISBN and paste a message of how great I am or how many books we\I sell. I list each book carefully trying to tell the faults and positives of our book. Most of the time I will tell what the book is about and list if it a first edition, hardcover or has a dust jacket. Photos of books are usually my scan and not a stock photo. If you have any questions, please ask. If you decide to pay with check or money order, please make it out to Warren Hahn, That's me!! I have about 5,200 books online with another 200 to list.
