New York: Russian Information Bureau in the U.S., 1919. First Edition Thus. Staple-bound pamphlet; original printed wrappers; 25pp. Mild soil to wrapper edges; internally clean; Very Good or better overall. The Russian Information Bureau, managed by C.A.K. Martens, was the official propaganda and diplomatic wing of the Bolsheviks in the years preceding their recognition by the American government. Martens was deported, and the Information Bureau disbanded, in 1921. A shorter version of this pamphlet, with a slightly different title, was issued in 1918.
