A Dutton Children;s Book; First Edition; 99 p. incl. index; VG+/VG; dark brown boards with gold printing on spine, very slightly bumped at top of spine, otherwise in perfect condition, seems unread. DJ unclipped, bright, slightly bumped, has small closed tear at top of spine. DJ is illustrated with a colour portrait of "Cinque", the leader of the Amistad captives. Walter Dean Myers has received many awards for his books for chidren and young adults, and this is an excellent example of his work. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
