About This Item

Prentice Hall.1977. Very good - book in fine brown boards with gold lettering to spine but weak hinges and age-toned paper. First edition with requesite number line running from 10 to 1. Book store (FIrst Edition Book Shoppe) on bottom of front paste-down.Unclipped ($7.95) jacket shows small chips with paper loss on top and bottom of spine & a 1 in. linear cut on bottom of back board. Several closed tears on back of jacket. Jacket is protected with removable mylar cover. If you're looking at the book you likely know the story of the Lutz family. Moving into the house where a mass murder took place is not for the faint of heart, especially when the house does not want you living there. The Lutz family lived in the house for only 28 days; apparently terrorized by a paranormal phenomena. Book is "the rest of the story" not told on national TV, magazine(s) or film. The first of what appears to be 44 movies related to "Amityville" was released in 1979. The Amityville Horror starred James Brolin, Margot Kidder, and Rod Steiger and, of course, the paranormal entitiy. 6x9.25 in. 201pg.
