Large 8vo, pp. 438, including half-title, frontispiece, 16 illustrations in text, 4 illustrations preceding title-page, including an 18th century engraving of Marguerite de Valois tipped-in on the recto of the frontispiece, original cloth, blocked in gilt on spine and front cover, top edge gilt (slightly soiled), other edges uncut. A very good copy.
