London: Printed for M.F. [Miles Flesher] for Samuel Gellibrand, at the Brazen serpent in Pauls Church-yard., 1647. Book. Very good- condition. Hardcover. First Edition. Quarto (4to). [32] pages, followed by 179 pages, followed by [13] pages. The final leaf is instead bound between page [32] and page 1. Rebound circa 1930 in marbled paper-covered boards, which are lightly worn, with new endpapers. An embossed stamp and an ink stamp on the title page, from a non-circulating institutional library. The page edges were trimmed, affecting many of the printed notes in the margins and some page numbers. Except for minor soiling the text is relatively clean and is unmarked. Title conintued "...In a second part of The disswasive from the errors of the time." Sabin 2762: The writings of this author, who was a friend of Roger Williams, contan many interesting particulars nowhere else to be found, respecting the Church of Leyden, and its migration to New England.
