About This Item
Chicago: The Silver Quoin Press, 1946-1947. limited edition. Hardcover. Fine. 6 x 9 in. Linen boards with paper label. Limited edition of 150 copies, completed in 1947. Condition is FINE ; a mint copy on all points. Lacks the glassine wrapper. This beautifully presented and produced volume has one horrible flaw - Poe's name is spelled Edgar "Allen" in the introduction. How the publisher must've squirmed when it was eventually pointed out to him. Poet. RGR.
