Twelve of the plates are printed in aquatint photogravure, and the corresponding 12 plates display engraved figures with nomenclatures. With 8 woodcut illustrations to the text. HARDCOVER, bound in contemporary quarter calf and marbled boards, cloth corners and inner hinges, backstrip replaced with binder's cloth tape, remnanats of clear tape at sides, old institutional stamps inside. Plates bit foxed, else in a very good internal condition. ~ FIRST EDITION. Z-3 IN
