Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt design and border on front, gilt titles on spine, top text block edge gilt, remaining edges untrimmed. 8vo. Sun-faded spine, shelf number written on spine; cloth torn at joints, some loss; corners rounded and cloth worn through. Text block edges tanning. Lender's stamps and markings on endpapers and copyright page; hinges cracked and strained, volume very loose. Doodle on pages xxv, xvi and 1 otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
