Nice fold-out map at front of the Coast of Syria, Phoenice and the Holy Land - 7 3/4" wide x 11" tall. Tree calf leather bound. 8vo 8" x 5". Contains Book 13 thru Book 17. Includes History of the Persians and Greeks, History of Philip, History of Alexander, History of Alexander's successors, Reign of Ptolemy son of Lagus, Ptolemy Philadelphus, Ptolemy Evergetes and Ptolemy Philopator. Front hinge weak. Gift inscription on flyleaf dated 1837. Nice map has some extra folds but is in very good condition. Leather missing on spine. Leather worn off several edges of boards. Text tight with some foxing in good condition. .
