Burgundy cloth w gilt lettering on cover and spine. Bumping to top corners. No edgewear. Binding square and sound. Photo illustrated DJ is clean, showing very light surface scuff near fore edges and spine, small wear to corners, light wear to head and top back edge, mild sunning to spine. DJ preserved now in archival cover. Quarto. Originally published in Hebrew in 1963 by The Biyalik Institute and The Israel Exploration Society. This is the first international copyright (1969) published by Massada Press Ltd., and printed in Israel by Peli Printing Works. Written by Ruth Amiran with the assistance of Pirhiya Beck and Uzza Zevulun.
