Quarter Vellum spine wrap over red cloth boards with gilt lettering to front and spine. This copy is VG. Exterior is very modestly soiled. Front gilt bright. Spine gilt a bit faded. Extremities with very minimal wear. Inside is unmarked, crisp, and tight. PO armorial BP to front paste down. TEG. Paste downs toned. Text, modestly so. With a hundred illustrations.. Frontispiece with tissue guard.First Edition with matching dates to Title and CR pages. Lovely and uncommon in FE. .
