About This Item
Bloemfontein: St. Andrew's School. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Signed by Author(s). Complete run of the magazines published for the three years 1923-1925 bound together in most cases with original covers. Signed by the editor to the front pastedown suggesting this was the editor's personal copy. Variable paper stock but overall in excellent condition and undiscoloured. The leaf bearing pp. 3 and 4 of the November 1925 issue has been torn out. From the adjacent pages these two pages would appear to have featured advertisements. Many ads and photos and a treasure trove for the social or school historian. A couple of small annotations in blue pen seemingly by the editor. Binding tight. Rubbing to spine ends. Gilt titling to spine. Grey boards mildly rubbed at corners. An extremely scarce resource.
