Early calf (Hungarian?), pastepaper endpapers, spine worn and lacking the lettering piece, wear at corners but binding sound overall. Inner joint cracked, old ownership stamp to title "C:F:Kohary 1788" and to endpaper " (Bert. Smetana). Scattered foxing, a few dampstains in the gutter, otherwise clean internally. 206pp An early plea for the value of public education as the Monarchy continued to crumble. Rare. Size: Octavo (8vo).
