Blue cloth boards with black paper title label with gold lettering on spine (unworn). No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Beautifully illustrated endpapers; previous owner name and date (1934) neatly penned on front freeendpaper. Pages and edges are clean. 343 pages. Clean jacket has multiple edge/corner chips, short closed edge tears; not price clipped (1.00 on front inside flap). Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A novel of an older woman falling in love with a younger man told with tenderness and wise understanding..
