Foxing on the first few front and end-matter leaves, else internally clean. Some speckled foxing to text block's fore-edge, occasionally showing slightly on lip of pages. Dust jacket rubbed; spine toned; light wear and shallow chipping at spine ends; in an archival mylar sleeve. pp. xiv, 613. 22 x 15 cm. Early novel by J. B. Priestly (1894-1984), set in late-1920s London.
