New York, New York, U.S.A.: Doubleday & Co., 1930 This is an ex-school library book which does not appear to have been touched by anyone but librarians (perhaps Conan the Librarian, but still. ). It is a 29th printing of the 1930 edition, looks like circa 1977. Dust jacket is unclipped and shows a stickon price of $4.95 (probably 3.95 in the U.S.:-( Slight rub to book corners else like new except for what the librarians did: wrote TASC [special ed program] on the dust jacket with a big black felt, put small label on spine over the foil Doubleday Reinforced Library Edition sticker, used a laminating cover, taped the jacket to the boards, but with inferior tape which came off without leaving a mark. On the ffep of the book, they big black felted TASC again. On the first page, they used a stamp and blue pen and white out. On the first free back page: Glued Date Due sheet and stamped it twice (first date illegible, second Nov 1 1978). Glued envelope which has typing, stamp, pen and whiteout. wrote some penciled figures in the corner. That's mostly it. DJ has a mark or two. It is in pretty close to fine condition under all that stuff!
