Rivington Small brown leather hardcover, 367 pages, plus black-and-white illustrations;--any and all pages prior to first text page are missing, thus date of publication is unknown (c1813-1824) and the publisher is assumed to be C. and J. Rivington;---front cover present but detached, text block tight in binding and secured to rear cover, both covers considerably worn at edges and corners, many pages surprisingly fresh and white, many others have faded old waterstaining and/or light to heavy foxing, and some have tannin marks from previously inserted tree leaves (all now removed), but other than a previous owner's attractive bookplate inside front cover and two ink numerals on back cover, there are no markings in the text. [this copy priced low, priced to go as bookseller is nearing retirement] . Hard Cover. Fair.
