Columbia: University of Missouri Press, 2009. 192 pages. Twice inscribed and signed by Charles H. Hoessle (The sixth director of the St. Louis Zoo). Both inscriptions are to Gary K. Clarke (1939-2019; American zoo director; First president of AAZPA; Safari leader; Author). The first inscription on the front paste down addresses Mr. Clarke by his birth name, as well as thre other African names that he was known as. This inscription points Mr. Clark to a second inscription on page 132, the biography of Charles H. Hoessle, where he thanks Gary for his early mentoring and many years of very warm friendship. There is a name/address stamp of Mr. Clarke's on the blank front free end leaf. Volume is otherwise Fine. Dust jacket remains bright and clean, though shows a couple of small wrinkles at corners.
