DJ has light chipping and shelf-wear present to the DJ especially around the extremities (tear present to the front panel of the DJ at the lower right corner of the DJ). Bound in blue cloth boards with gilt titles present to the spine and the front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Ann Vickers is a complex character: a strong-minded prison superintendent dedicated to enlightened social reform, she also seeks to fulfill herself as a sexual being. Ann Vickers is in all respects her own person, standing up to the confining rules of her society. E-52; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
